MESSY CHURCH is back–come join an ecumenical celebration and learn the meaning of Hallowe’en as we honour All Saints’/Souls’ Day on October 28 at 4:30p.m. in the Parish Centre. Bring a friend, your children, grand-children, nieces and nephews. Fun for the whole family with our usual messy food, music and learning activities. Costumes are encouraged. How ghoulish can you be?
 


 




FALL LUNCHEON–St. Stephen’s Hospitality Committee will hold a Fall Luncheon Saturday, November 11:30a.m.-1:30p.m. in the Parish Centre. Doors open at 11:00a.m. Lunch includes a variety of soups & homemade breads, dessert, coffee/tea. Adults $8, Youth under 10 years $5. There will be a Baked Goods, Christmas items, and Books galore. Donations of books and/or Christmas items are greatly appreciated. Please contact Vicky Young (275-4219) for further information.

Messy Church is back! On Sunday, July 29th at 11am we will be celebrating our Parish Patronal Festival in our Messy Church way with great music, worship, fun, food and fellowship. We will meet in the Parish Centre next to St. Stephen's (54 Regent St., Chester). This celebration is for the whole parish. We will enjoy a BBQ lunch together, Everyone is welcome!

GARDEN CLEAN-UP–Shoreham is looking for volunteers to assist with their garden cleanup on May 31, 9:00a.m.–3:00p.m. A BBQ lunch will be provided. If you would like to help, call 275-5631 ext. 233 or 235.
CHESTER BRASS CONCERT–
Chester Brass, accompanied by Scotia Brass, will perform its fourth ‘Voices of Spring' concert Sunday afternoon, June 3 at 3:00p.m. in St. Stephen's Church. Please spread the word and encourage people to come for an afternoon of enjoyable musical entertainment. Tickets are $10 and are available through the Parish office. Proceeds are in support of our parish ministries.

MEMORIAL HYMN SING–
On Sunday, June 17 (Father’s Day) at 11a.m., our worship will take the form of a ‘Memorial Hymn Sing’. The top 10 hymns have already been selected. Folks will have opportunity to make a donation, or request a hymn in memory of departed mothers, fathers or other loved ones. Hymns will be sung as a part of our worship with support from our fabulous choir. Request forms are being distributed, and are also available in the back of St. Stephen’s Church.


‘CREATED IN THE IMAGE & LIKENESS OF GOD’–
We plan to begin a series of weekly conversations on Human Sexuality, using a programme from our National Church, beginning Wednesdays July 4 and continuing until August 1. Please mark your calendars and plan to be part of these important conversations.


REGIONAL CELEBRATION–
of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II will be held June 3 at 7:00p.m. in St. John’s Anglican Church, Lunenburg. This will be a traditional Choral Evensong featuring music from the Coronations of Elizabeth I, Victoria and Elizabeth II. Guest Preacher is Bishop Sue Moxley.

Next Messy Church
